Waymaker Excavation LLC is a locally owned and operated excavation company based in Brown County, Indiana, proudly serving Central Indiana and surrounding communities. Backed by years of experience in excavation, construction, trucking, and water and sewer work, Waymaker Excavation provides residential and light commercial services including driveway installation and restoration, grading and drainage, water and sewer lines, trenching, culvert installation, land clearing, demolition, and material hauling. We believe in doing quality work, communicating honestly, and treating every property as if it were our own. Whether it’s a small drainage problem or a complete driveway or utility project, our goal is to provide a solution that’s built to last.
Our Story
Waymaker Excavation was built from a lifelong interest in equipment, construction, and working with the land. After years of experience around excavation, trucking, and the water and sewer industry, owner Max Langdon decided to take that experience and build a company of his own.
Waymaker Excavation LLC was founded in 2025 right here in Brown County, Indiana. What started with a truck, trailer, and excavator has continued to grow through hard work, word of mouth referrals, and customers trusting us with their properties and projects.
Waymaker is more than a business to us. It’s something we’re building for our family and for the future. Our faith, family, and commitment to doing things the right way are at the foundation of how we run Waymaker Excavation. As a husband and father, Max understands the importance of building something you can be proud to put your name behind. That same mindset carries into every project Waymaker takes on.
We're still proudly owner-operated. From the first phone call and estimate to operating the equipment and completing the work, you'll work directly with the owner. That means accountability, straightforward communication, and someone on your property who personally cares about the outcome.
